Sofia and Ann

Sofia Pernas was born in Morocco. She moved to California at age five. She grew up primarily living in Orange County. Her breakout moment came in the year 2015 when she earned her graduation from University of California San Diego. Pernas appeared as a guest on NCIS and Leverage prior to landing the part of Marisa on The Young and the Restless. The actress, who walked away from the soap in 2016, landed the role of Catalina as a regular in Jane the Virgin. The actress who is multi-lingual has appeared on The Brave, The Green Ghost, and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. On Blood & Treasure, from 2019, until 2020 she played Lexi Vaziri. Us Weekly confirmed in May 2020 that Pernas is dating her former The Young and the Restless co-star Justin Hartley. This relationship started when Chrishell Stause's split with the This Is Us actress split in November 2018. In May 2021, the news surfaced that Pernas Hartley had recently married in secret.
